Reviews For Patrick McLean

Patrick E. McLean: The Lure of the Heist 5.0

THE SOAK is as hard-boiled as they come. Anyone can die at any time. The pacing never lets up. The prose is terse and sharp. There are no good guys, although you'll find yourself rooting for Hobbs. This is a good one. Check it out.

Bill Crider, author of OUTRAGE AT BLANCO

Patrick E. McLean: The Lure of the Heist 5.0

An extraordinarily dark, twisting noir novel with crackling dialogue and action.

Brendan DuBois, Edgar award-winning author of the Lewis Cole mystery series

Patrick E. McLean: The Lure of the Heist 5.0

THE SOAK is tense, fast moving, intricately plotted and layered with the moral ambiguity of the best crime fiction.

Garry Disher, multiple Ned Kelly Award winning author of the Wyatt and Chain of Evidence
